Mrs. Clark called the meeting
of the Lakewood School Council to order.
Council members present were Kathie
Hamilton, Danielle Linder, Angela Pike and Shelee Clark.
I.
ORDER #FY20
– 1390 – APPROVAL OF AGENDA – Council agreed by consensus to approve
the agenda.
ORDER #FY20 – 1391 – APPROVAL OF MINUTES
– Council agreed by consensus to approve the minutes of the October 14,
2019 meeting.
Lakewood had
a very successful ROARoWeen event. Safe
schools week was celebrated with activities each day. Speakers came to speak to students for
Veteran’s Day. Third grade collected for
Unicef for their community project.
All site base
members have received their training.
The September
and October budget reports were reviewed and accepted.
The October accident report was reviewed and accepted. Council reviewed and accepted committee reports from the Curriculum & Instruction and Learning Environment committees.

ORDER #FY20 – 1392 – ESS CALENDAR
2019-2020 APPROVAL – Council agreed by consensus to approve the ESS
calendar 2019-2020.
ORDER
#FY20 – 1393 – DISCIPLINE POLICY FIRST READ – Council agreed by
consensus to approve the first read of the discipline policy.
ORDER
#FY20 – 1394 – CONSULTATION TO HIRE – Council officially consulted
to hire Ellen Parsons as instructional assistant II.
III.
The next regular meeting will be Monday, December
9, 2019 at 4:15 pm at Lakewood conference room.
Kathie Hamilton will serve as facilitator, Mary Waddell as resource
person and Danielle Linder as scribe.
