Mrs. Clark called the meeting
of the Lakewood School Council to order.
Council members present were Kathie
Hamilton, Danielle Linder, Mary Waddell, Angela Pike and Shelee Clark.
I.
ORDER #FY20
– 1385 – APPROVAL OF AGENDA – Council agreed by consensus to approve
the agenda.
ORDER #FY20 – 1386 – APPROVAL OF MINUTES
– Council agreed by consensus to approve the minutes of the September 9,
2019 meeting.
A new
preschool class will be opening October 15.
It will meet on Tuesday and Thursday of each week. Three Lakewood students earned awards at the
state art contest. Lakewood had a very
successful Fall Festival that was attended by many.
State
assessment data was reviewed by council.
Numerous MAP reports were discussed and reviewed at length by council
members.
The September accident report was reviewed and accepted. Council reviewed and accepted committee reports from the Curriculum & Instruction, Assessment, and Learning Environment committees.

II.
ORDER #FY20 – 1387 – CONSULTATION TO
HIRE – Council officially consulted
to hire Amy Carr to fill the part
time preschool teacher position.

#FY20 – 1388 – CONSULTATION TO HIRE – Council officially consulted
to hire Jessica Kress to fill the part
time preschool assistant position.
III.
The next regular meeting will be Monday,
November 11, 2019 at 4:15 pm at Lakewood conference room. Danielle Linder will serve as facilitator, Kathie
Hamilton as resource person and Angela Pike as scribe.
